David’s Bridal seeks a Lead Alterations Specialist to manage fittings, alterations, and consultations with passion for exceptional service. You will train staff, supervise sewing and finishing, and uphold quality across all garments while supporting sales goals and delivering a 5-star customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Sewing experience preferred in bridal and/or alterations.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty stores.
• Experience with computerized POS system is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm, solving issues clearly and effectively.
• Drive loyalty with follow-ups and appointment-setting; manage bridal and dress consultations.
• Oversee alterations fittings, sewing, steaming, and finishing to high standards.
• Train team members in fitting and sewing techniques and maintain product knowledge.
• Ensure quality control and pristine condition of garments before delivery.
• Communicate daily sales goals and assist stylists to close sales.
