Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking a Lead Alterations Specialist to perform fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will oversee alterations, sewing, steaming, and quality checks, while delivering superior customer service and expert guidance on gown fitting and customization.

Responsibilities include training staff, promoting alteration services, handling customer inquiries, and contributing to a 5‑star shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or degree required.
• Prior bridal/special occasion production experience preferred.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Experience with computerized POS system and ability to use one.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm, solving problems and answering questions.
• Drive loyalty by making clientele calls and maximizing appointments.
• Act as Floor Manager during peak times to offer fit and alterations consultations.
• Lead alterations fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning to standards.
• Train team members in fitting and sewing techniques and ensure quality education.
