Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable, and technical service while supporting a five-star customer experience across multiple customers.

Responsibilities include fittings, alterations, and promoting all alteration services. Prior sewing and retail experience are preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal or special occasion.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, on the phone, or virtually.
• Assist with alterations, fittings and final garment prep.
• Promote alteration services and personalization options to customers.
• Support stylists by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards and ensure clean, organized alterations area.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap and assist with inventory as needed.
