Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Mammography Technologist at Memorial Regional Medical Center (Days, PRN) to perform high-quality breast imaging per ARRT/ACR/MQSA guidelines. You will perform screening, diagnostic, invasive, and DEXA scans and assist the radiologist in procedures while ensuring patient safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (preferred) from ARRT accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• Mammography advanced modality registration (preferred or within 1 year).
• State licensure preferred unless required by state.
• BLS from American Heart Association (required at hire for some locations).

Responsibilities

• Performs all breast imaging and DEXA procedures.
• Assists radiologist in invasive breast procedures, ensuring aseptic technique and patient consent.
• Correlates patient history with the procedure and documents information for the licensed provider.
• Selects and operates breast imaging equipment to achieve quality results.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure for patient and staff.
• Provides patient education and discharge instructions.
• Participates in quality assessments and department improvement plans.
