Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN Mammography Technician to perform mammography and bone density procedures, maintain QA, and support the radiology team.

You will collect patient histories, assist radiologists with localization studies and biopsies, enter orders, maintain records, and ensure compliance with ACR standards and safety protocols. Additional duties may include patient transport and supporting other areas within the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• KBMIRT at time of hire.
• ARRT within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced registry in Mammography.
• Current BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and bone density procedures and produce diagnostic images.
• Maintain equipment quality control and QA tasks.
• Enter orders, collect patient histories, and maintain records.
• Assist radiologists with localization studies and biopsies.
• Ensure compliance with ACR standards and safety protocols.
• Provide patient transport and support other department areas as needed.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology

KBMIRT at time of hire

ARRT within 90 days of hire
