Job summary

HealthPartners in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Patient Service Scheduler to provide appointment scheduling, reception, and clerical support for patients, visitors, and staff. You will handle scheduling of appointments and procedures, check-in, and insurance verification while maintaining HIPAA compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience in direct customer/patient service and computer/data entry required.
• 2 years' experience with patient scheduling in a customer support related role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to write, read, and speak English clearly.
• HIPAA knowledge and adherence to policies
• Strong organizational skills; able to function in team and autonomously
• Ability to handle ambiguity and fast-paced environment
• Prioritize and manage multiple duties

Responsibilities

• Provide patient appointment scheduling, reception, clerical and customer service.
• Schedule appointments and procedures; perform patient check-in.
• Verify insurance and related duties.
• Know scheduling practices for Lakeview and Regions hospitals, including OR scheduling.
• Adapt to daily variations in function percentage
