Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen/community foods associate to support breakfast and lunch service.

You will set up serving lines, monitor temperatures, and assist with prep and baking according to the menu plan. The role involves cleaning, restocking, and operating various kitchen machines following safety rules. You will work across production, compliance, and administrative tasks, prioritizing food safety, portion control, and customer hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred; or up to one month of related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving lines and ensure food is held at the proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep ahead for next day’s menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper FIFO inventory.
• Assist in baking breads, cakes, and other items as required by the menu plan.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation; present items to customers appealingly.
