Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks a versatile kitchen associate to prepare breakfast and lunch items, assist serving lines, and participate in catering tasks.

You will rotate through stations, follow menu plans, and ensure food safety throughout the shift. Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, batch cooking, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace while upholding Opaa!’s service standards and recipes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience is a plus.
• Ability to read simple instructions, short notes, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Knowledge of HACCP/compliance and kitchen safety procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and safety.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and FIFO inventory practices.
• Handle administrative tasks like meal counts and daily records.
• Assist in serving lines and restock items as required.
