Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines. The role involves participating in occasional catering and performing all kitchen positions as needed.

Responsibilities include food preparation, stocking, and maintaining temperatures, operating equipment, and ensuring HACCP compliance while delivering quality meals to customers. This on-site role supports Minnesota schools within the Opaa! program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at the proper temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation according to the menu plan and recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification; maintain clean, organized work areas.
