Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks a kitchen worker to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and support occasional catering. You will perform multiple kitchen roles to support daily meal service.

You will follow menu plans, recipes, HACCP guidelines, stock and rotate inventory, operate slicers, mixers, and dishwashing equipment, and maintain clean, organized work areas for quality presentation.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a school or cafeteria setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and proper food handling.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at the proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory practices.
• Assist in cleaning kitchen and cafeteria areas, including equipment and dishes.
• Assist in stocking milk coolers and restocking serving lines as needed.
• Present baked goods to customers in an appealing manner and ensure quality presentation.
