Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking team members to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering functions. You will perform all kitchen positions, ensure proper food temperatures, and help maintain a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities include following the menu and recipes, batch cooking, equipment operation with certification, and accurate daily production records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred or equivalent experience.
• Language: read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence.
• Math: perform basic arithmetic including rate, ratio, and percent.
• Reasoning: apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems.
• Tools: familiarity with listed kitchen equipment and meal counting software.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and maintain food at proper temperatures.
• Assist in food prep per menu and plan ahead for next day’s menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders with proper certification.
• Maintain clean work areas and FIFO inventory.
• Handle cash and POS as required, and complete timekeeping tasks.
