Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a versatile kitchen associate to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings and assist with serving lines in a school dining program across multiple states.

You will help with menu-based food prep, batch cooking, equipment operation, and daily clean-up, while ensuring food safety, proper temperatures, and hospitable service to students and staff. Adherence to HACCP, FIFO, and daily production records will be important, along with teamwork and reliable attendance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; batch cook for quality.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain neat, clean work areas and FIFO inventory.
• Assist in cleaning, dishwashing, and stocking accordingly.
