Job summary

Europastry in New Jersey is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a dough production team responsible for assembling bread and sheeted items. You will plan line activity, monitor performance, train staff, and resolve production issues to maintain safety, quality, and throughput.

You will supervise molding, shaping, and inspection tasks, coordinate breaks, review KPIs with leadership, and drive continuous improvement on the line through teamwork and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Study production schedule and prepare labor and machine plans.
• Supervise dough molding, shaping, and assembly operations.
• Rotate workers to maintain consistency and productivity.
• Monitor safety, quality, and downtime KPIs on the line.
• Train new employees and mentor line staff.
• Identify issues and implement effective solutions on the line.
• Coordinate line changes and paperwork for end-of-run markers.
• Review production KPIs with management and prepare reports.
