Job summary

Europastry USA is seeking a motivated Production Worker in New Jersey to support bread and roll production, packaging, and freezer-ready finishing processes. The role involves setting up production lines, counting, labeling, and maintaining quality and safety standards on the bread lines.

The position requires basic education and willingness to work in a fast-paced bakery environment with strict GMP and food safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED; up to one year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates bread processing steps, including orienting bread before blast freezers.
• Inspects bread products and places in order for freezer processing.
• Weighs product and reports discrepancies to lead packer or supervisor.
• Labels boxes according to product specs.
• Inspects for open seams or defects in product.
• Assembles and seals boxes.
• Alerts supervision to production, safety, or employee-relations issues.
• Places liners in boxes and loads onto conveyors.
• Works with team; rotates within department as directed.
• Maintains clean, orderly work area and supports continuous improvement.
