Job summary

Bridor is seeking a Packaging Team Lead to oversee our high-volume bread-packaging lines at the Vineland, NJ plant. This hands-on, plant-floor leadership role coordinates start-ups, line changes, and daily production, while guiding staff to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets.

The position requires 2–5 years in manufacturing, English literacy, GMP/HACCP knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Three 12-hour shifts are available on a fixed schedule with day or night options.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and read written instructions in English.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate packaging-line start-ups, product changes, and daily production activities.
• Set up and adjust packaging equipment before production begins.
• Keep packaging lines operating efficiently while minimizing downtime and product loss.
• Ensure Critical Control Points are monitored according to required procedures.
• Follow and reinforce food-safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, and BRC requirements.
• Immediately report food-safety, quality, production, or process deviations.
• Confirm adequate staffing at line start-up and throughout production.
• Help train new employees on their assigned responsibilities.
• Ensure packaging materials, components, and supplies remain available.
• Identify operational or mechanical issues and communicate them to Production and Maintenance.
• Complete daily production reports and required documentation.
• Follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures during equipment stoppages.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
