Job summary

Avocado Green Brands is seeking a Retail Brand Experience Assistant Store Manager to join our Palo Alto team. This on-site role leads store operations when the manager is away and champions exceptional guest experiences with in-the-moment coaching.

You will train the team on products, drive sales KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize service, inventory and events while reflecting the brand’s values of healthy living and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or equivalent experience with store management or assistant management responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Mac and Google Suite is a plus.
• Comfortable taking phone and video appointments.
• Commitment to a balanced, healthy staff and guest environment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit to elevate the location.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in the absence of the store manager.
• Coach and develop staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Train team on products and processes to ensure consistency.
• Drive sales goals through KPI/OKR alignment.
• Coordinate performance reviews with store managers.
• Develop and enforce SOPs to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Assist with staff scheduling, vacations and attendance.
• Support company initiatives and branded events.
• Resolve guest issues to provide outstanding customer service.
• Collaborate with customer experience, production and logistics to reduce returns.
