The role requires high school diploma or GED, cash handling experience, and excellent communication. Ability to work Saturdays and evenings is expected, with opportunities to refer customers to team members for financial needs.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience in banking, cash office or retail setting preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Exemplary organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to follow precise directions.
• Ability to operate teller equipment and learn banking systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Accept and process deposit transactions.
• Cash checks and process withdrawal transactions with proper ID and sufficient funds.
• Sell Cashier’s Checks and redeem EE Savings Bonds.
• Process loan payments, credit card payments and utility payments.
• Transfer funds between accounts as required.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding balances and account verification.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare daily settlement and reports.
