The role involves balancing cash and providing high quality customer service to drive sales goals, with occasional branch coverage as needed. The position requires strong attention to detail, good math and PC skills, and the ability to obtain NMLS registration if not already held.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• NMLS registration or ability to obtain it upon hire.
• Good reading, writing and math skills; proficient with accounting basics.
• Proficient PC skills with ability to learn banking software.

Responsibilities

• Process teller transactions accurately and quickly.
• Greet customers and provide friendly service at the teller station.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, loan, utility, and card payments.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Support branch sales goals and incidentals for customers.
• Float to other branches as needed to cover staffing.
• Assist with new account documentation and servicing.
