Responsibilities

• Accept and process deposit transactions.
• Cash checks and process withdrawal transactions within approved authority and operating policy.
• Sell Cashier’s Checks.
• Redeem EE Savings Bonds.
• Issue approved cash advances on Company accepted credit cards.
• Transfer funds between accounts as required.
• May accept and process utility payments.
• Accept and process all types of loan payments and credit card payments.
• Maintain awareness of new business opportunities and refer customers to appropriate staff.
• Respond to telephone inquiries regarding balances and account verifications.
• Prepare daily settlement and balance cash drawer accurately.
• Prepare and review reports relating to the function (CTRs, Bank Secrecy Reports, etc.).
• Process night, mail, ATM, and courier deposits.
• Maintain cash levels and manage excess cash when appropriate.
• Balance and service ATM/currency/coin machines as needed.
• Verify and wrap coin/currency for vault control; comply with policies and laws.
• Adhere to all internal policies and regulatory requirements; support safety and soundness.
• Provide safe deposit box service to customers.
• Work Saturdays and evenings as required; open/close the branch as needed.
• If necessary, float to other branches to meet business needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
