Job summary

Bellco Credit Union in Colorado is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead customer relationships and staff performance at the branch. You will train and coach Member Service Advisor staff, achieve sales and service goals, and ensure compliance with procedures.

You will back up underwriting, manage audits, and resolve escalated issues while maintaining Branch Manager-informed oversight. The role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and branch growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years teller/operations experience.
• 2 years sales and customer service preferably in financial services.
• 3 years supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Bellco’s Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel in other Bellco departments.
• Manage branch staff including hiring, performance management, conducting monthly one-on-ones, writing reviews and making salary recommendations.
• Gains and maintains a strong knowledge of Bellco products and services and can accurately enter and complete transactions, loan applications and account openings in Bellco systems.
• Ensures established branch goals and metrics are met, including goals for other business groups/partners that work with the branch (i.e. wealth management). Motivate staff to success.
• Conducts daily huddles and monthly one-on-ones with branch staff.
• Maintain positive relationships with other departments, which may include (but are not limited to): Legal Compliance, Human Resources, Operations Teams
