Job summary

Credit Union of the Rockies is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Golden to lead our branch team as a working-manager. You will hit personal goals while helping the team reach theirs, mentor Universal Service Specialists, and serve as a trusted contact for members with complex needs.

You will support the Branch Manager in daily operations, drive branch performance, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Hands-on leader who can coach and develop staff.
Able to hit personal and branch goals.
Strong communication in person, phone, and email.
Willingness to obtain NMLS registration.

Responsibilities

Lead the service team: train, schedule, and support staff to ensure excellent member service.
Drive branch performance: help set and reach goals, track metrics, and coach for improvement.
Support lending: assist with loan applications, closes, and member guidance.
Solve problems: act as escalation point for complex member issues with professionalism.
Manage risk and operations: cash handling, audits, vault and ATM checks, and reconciliation.
Help keep the branch secure: coordinate opening/closing procedures and security.
Grow the team: participate in interviews and recruitment.
Stay compliant: follow credit union policies and applicable regulations including BSA/USA PATRIOT Act.
