Auto Club Enterprises in Illinois seeks a Branch Specialist to greet members, determine service needs, and direct them to the right area. In states with DMV license services, they handle registrations and resolve routine issues per DMV and Club rules.

The role includes creating travel aids, assisting with hotel and car bookings, selling memberships, processing payments, notary duties, and handling cash deposits with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School GED is required.
• 1-3 years Branch Specialist 1 and/or 2 or related experience required.
• Basic computer literacy and data input skills.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment and perform basic accounting duties.
• Ability to work quickly and handle multiple tasks daily.
• Prior experience using State DMV licensing system.
• As required, obtains and maintains valid Notary Public license within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Greet members by phone and in person and determine the nature of service required.
• Provide requested services or direct members to the appropriate area.
• In locations with DMV license services, process transactions and resolve routine problems.
• Prepare TripTiks, maps, tour books and other travel-related materials.
• Assist members with hotel and/or car reservations.
• Promote and sell AAA memberships and process payments.
• Upgrade memberships and manage automatic renewal features.
• Process insurance payments and automatic renewals.
• Issue passport photos and IDP’s.
• Process Travel Money product transactions and ticket sales.
• Balance the cash drawer and prepare daily deposits.
• Perform notary services per National Notary Association and Club procedures.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities based on members’ product needs.
