Job summary

1 st MidAmerica is seeking a Branch Services Assistant to serve as a resource to our membership regarding account maintenance and deceased accounts. You will handle data entry and support for staff and members across multiple locations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and adherence to banking policies, with training and opportunities for growth in a collaborative, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; High School Internships also available.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle independently.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and standard report work.
• Verifies documents within imaging system for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with staff or member requests for deceased accounts, IRAs and other account maintenance.
• Post incoming mail payments timely and accurately.
• Provide excellent member service and resolve inquiries.

Job Summary:

• Assist with staff or member requests for deceased accounts, IRA’s and other account maintenance.
