Grainger, a leading broad line distributor, seeks a Branch Sales Associate in Norfolk, VA to connect with walk-in customers and provide guidance, knowledge, and a winning attitude. You will maximize sales opportunities, build customer loyalty, and support warehouse tasks throughout the day.

You will report to the Store Manager and must be flexible to work branch hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and learn various computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier with assistance.
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment and store computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, picking, and loading vehicles.
• Look for opportunities to maximize sales and encourage loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in person.
• Prepare will call orders, backorders, and stock.
