Qualifications

• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, and safe loading of customer vehicle.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in-person interactions.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping product.
• Prepare backorders and stock the marketplace accordingly.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts and cycle checks.
• Learn and navigate multiple computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Perform housekeeping to meet Grainger standards and safety guidelines.
