Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Branch Sales Associate in Stafford, TX to connect with walk-in customers, guide product selection, and process orders while performing warehouse tasks.

You will report to the Branch Manager and aim to maximize sales and customer loyalty in a fast-paced environment. The role requires flexibility to work branch hours, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to learn and use multiple computer systems for both customer-facing and warehouse activities.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
• Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier with assistance.
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, picking, and loading the customer vehicle.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in-person interactions.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders/shipping product.
• Prepare backorders and stock put-away.
• Support merchandising and showroom replenishment, and perform inventory counts.
• Learn multiple computer systems used for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Maintain branch appearance by performing housekeeping.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear PPE.
