Job summary

Grainger is hiring a Branch Sales Associate in the United States. You will connect with walk-in customers, guide product selection, and process orders while also performing warehouse tasks and maintaining a safe, organized store environment.

You will report to the Store Manager, help maximize sales opportunities, support merchandising, and participate in inventory counts. Flexibility across branch hours and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavier loads with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, and safe loading of customer vehicles.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in-person interactions.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and backorders; assist with merchandising and inventory counts.
• Learn and navigate Grainger computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
• Maintain branch appearance and comply with safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
