Job summary

Groundworks is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support the Branch Sales Manager, lead Outside Sales Representatives, and drive sales performance. You will contribute to sales strategies, coach the team, and ensure customer satisfaction across the sales function.

The role emphasizes accountability, professional development, and alignment with ownership culture as part of Groundworks’ employee ownership program.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience leading a sales team.
• In-home sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic, integrity and humility to build a leading team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in presenting professional sales pitches to customers.
• Help train Outside Sales Representatives to meet targets.
• Ensure team has product knowledge and marketing understanding.
• Conduct ride-alongs to improve techniques and processes.
• Handle customer concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Lead by example and represent the Groundworks brand confidently.
• Manage warm leads and own an assigned book of business.
