Job summary

Grainger in Tampa, FL is hiring a Branch Sales Associate to connect with walk-in customers, guide product selection, and process orders while performing warehouse tasks. You will report to the Store Manager and help maximize sales opportunities with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

This role requires flexibility within branch hours, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and learning to operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full customer experience including product selection and order entry.
• Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders.
• Prepare backorders and stock received.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
• Maintain branch appearance and comply with safety guidelines.
