Responsibilities

• Provide solutions and connect with walk-in customers.
• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, safely picking products, and safely loading customer vehicles.
• Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style across email, phone, and in-person interactions.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
• Prepare customer backorders and put away received stock.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Navigate different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain Grainger branch standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment.
• Report to the Store Manager
