Job summary

Grainger’s Pearl Harbor branch in Pearl City, HI is seeking a Branch Sales Associate. You will engage walk-in customers, drive sales, and perform a mix of warehouse tasks to support daily operations.

You will report to the Branch Manager and be responsible for accurate order entry, product selection, and safe handling of merchandise while maintaining a welcoming customer experience in a busy storefront environment.

Qualifications

Must be able to pass a military background check.
Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, pickup and loading.
Maximize sales opportunities and build customer loyalty.
Adapt communication style for email, phone or in person.
Pick, prepare and stage will-call orders and shipped product.
Prepare backorders and store received stock.
Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
Perform inventory counts and maintain branch appearance.
Navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
