Job summary

Grainger's Pearl Harbor, HI branch is seeking a Branch Sales Associate to provide solutions to walk-in customers, guide product selection, process orders, and support both sales and warehouse duties. This full-time hourly role reports to the Branch Manager.

You will maximize sales opportunities, adapt communication to various audiences, prepare backorders, stock shelves, perform inventory counts, and learn multiple computer systems while maintaining Grainger standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or warehouse environments helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Comfort with learning multiple computer systems used in sales and warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, safe picking, and loading vehicles.
• Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in-person interactions.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
• Prepare backorders and stock replenishment; assist with merchandising and housekeeping.
• Perform inventory counts and learn different computer systems for warehouse activities.
