Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required; college or banking training helpful.
• Previous banking experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other Windows applications; comfortable learning new software.
• Commitment to ongoing learning.
• Ability to interact professionally and cooperatively with others to reach bank goals; teamwork.
• Dependable with punctuality and attendance; able to travel to all bank locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous, efficient service to all customers.
• Make referrals to business partners for customer benefit.
• Assist customers with opening accounts and updating information.
• Explain range of deposit products and services; handle problems and questions.
• Maintain knowledge of deposit products and services; comply with policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues.
• Open/close and oversee branch operations when required; supervise in manager's absence.
• Foster customer service excellence and branch efficiency.
