Job summary

Central Pacific Bank is seeking a Branch Operations & Development Manager to lead Branch Certification and the Universal Banker Management Training (UBMT) program, shaping development strategy for Branch Banking. Under supervision, you will coach the BOSS team, design UBMT curriculum, manage selection and placement, and partner with HR and Branch Managers to create clear career paths.

You will ensure certification readiness, align with risk, sales, and service standards, and drive improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university.
6+ years of experience in Branch operations, universal banker, or related area.
5+ years of Supervisory experience or 3+ years of management in a retail banking environment.
2+ years of Training, facilitation, or structured development programs preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for the BOSS team and UBMT participants.
Lead design and ongoing enhancement of the UBMT program curriculum and post-program placements.
Develop a bank-wide pipeline of Universal Bankers and Assistant Managers with clear readiness criteria.
Collaborate with HR, Market Managers, and Branch Managers to socialize career paths and identify high-potential employees.
Own branch certification design, scheduling, and execution across markets.
