Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2-5 years of consumer banking experience required.
• Platform and/or teller supervision and cash handling experience.
• Knowledge of Regulatory and Compliance Laws and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent customer service and written/oral communication skills.
• Understanding of sales management processes and profiling/cross-selling.
• Able to multi-task, problem solve, mentor, delegate, and work independently or as a team.
• Skilled in applicable software applications and office equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail; ability to research and execute via Intranet/Internet.

Responsibilities

• Opens/closes branch daily, prepares employee schedules and workflows, monitors cash GL accounts and recap sheet for cash balance.
• Ensures daily processing of customer transactions and branch capture, including mail deposits and night depository transactions.
• Maintains internal controls and compliance with bank regulatory requirements.
• Protects confidentiality of information, including passwords.
• Balances ATM (if on-site) and troubleshoots issues.
• Maintains branch facilities by communicating with facilities management.
• Serves as security officer and conducts monthly security meetings.
• Mentors Universal Bankers and coordinates with Branch Manager for performance reviews and follow-ups.
• Allocates resources to optimize team performance; may assume Branch Manager duties when unavailable.
• Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.
