Job summary

Central Pacific Bank (HI) is seeking a Branch Operations & Development Manager in Honolulu, HI. This role leads the Branch Certification Program, UBMT training, and development strategies to align with sales, service, risk, and operational expectations.

You will manage the BOSS team, design curricula, mentor participants, and build a strong pipeline of Universal Bankers and branch leaders, ensuring readiness for advancement and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Branch operations, universal banker, or related area.
• 5+ years of Supervisory experience or 3+ years of management in a retail banking environment.
• 2+ years of Training, facilitation, or structured development programs (formal or informal) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, coordination, and ongoing enhancement of the UBMT Program, including curriculum, rotational assignments, mentoring, and post-program placement.
• Owns the annual UBMT program calendar, including timelines, participant selection, training schedules, and capstone activities.
• Develops and manages a bank-wide pipeline of Universal Bankers and Assistant Managers with clear learning paths and readiness criteria.
• Provides coaching on relationship-based sales, referrals, and service standards to UBMT participants and leaders.
• Partners with HR, Market Managers, and Branch Managers to socialize and execute clear career path opportunities.
• Contributes to performance reviews and development plans for BOSS and UBMT participants.
