First Bank in New Jersey seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to lead customer service, sales, and branch operations. This role will oversee daily activities, drive referral and cross-sell results, and stand in for the branch manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence.
• Participate in internal and external sales activities including community events.
• Maximize customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
• Assist in selection, training, supervision and evaluation of branch personnel to achieve productivity.
• Provide ongoing training and direction to employees.
• Meet sales referral and cross-selling goals; knowledgeable in all deposit products and services.
• Oversee and maintain overall operational soundness of the branch and IA rating of Satisfactory or higher.
• Open new accounts on bank system.
• Resolve product or service problems promptly.
• Maintain customer confidence and ensure adherence to all rules and procedures.
• Assume additional responsibilities as required.
