Job summary

Poppy Bank in California (Palm Desert area) seeks Branch Operations Specialist or Officer, depending on experience, to manage daily branch operations in office, ensure policy compliance, supervise staff, and support growth.

The role covers scheduling, customer service, account openings, documentation, and training, with emphasis on risk controls, security, and regulatory adherence; leadership for up to five staff if promoted.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years banking experience.
• Notary Public not required but preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with standard banking software and office tools.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Schedules branch staff to ensure appropriate branch coverage.
• Works with staff to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Keeps current with operational standards and procedures, and ensures adherence to policies.
• Maintains branch security and trains staff on security procedures.
• Performs teller duties, opens new accounts and conducts file maintenance.
