Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Operations Manager / People Leader to build and lead a high-performing branch team, driving service excellence and revenue growth. You will oversee field operations, mentor staff, and partner with senior leadership to shape talent and business strategies.

You will relocate within the division geography for higher roles and travel to branch offices ~25% of the time, while maintaining strong P&L discipline and compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven revenue growth in a Home Services company.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
• 5-7 years of multi-operational or sales management experience.
• 5-7 years of P&L responsibility and expense-control understanding.
• 5-7 years of customer relations experience.
• 5-7 years of P&L management and business processes experience.
• 5-7 years of operations or sales management experience with a results-driven company.
• 5-7 years of proven profitable growth.
• 5-7 years of mentoring, coaching and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead a branch location after completing the initial 90 days of training.
• Travel in the field for branch office visits ~25% of the time.
• Relocate within the division geography for higher roles.
• Inspire your team to deliver top-notch service and commit to continual improvement.
• Drive revenue generation and growth with daily check-ins and accountability.
• Showcase strong P&L management and strategic growth investments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and vehicle policies.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate and coach employees.
• Drive sales initiatives and results.
• Identify best practices, cost savings and improved customer service initiatives.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership and HR on hiring, promotions, succession planning, performance improvement and termination decisions.
• Promote positive employee relations and uphold high morale and operating standards.
• Maintain technical industry knowledge in pest, termite, sales and operational management.
