Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, is seeking a Springfield, IL Branch Operations Manager to lead warehouse and administrative functions and improve branch performance. You will focus on processes that ensure quality customer service and optimal operational metrics.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage inventory movements and cycle counts, oversee billing and vendor relationships, and partner with the Sales team to secure orders. Travel may be required; a business degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in business, sales or operations management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong customer and vendor relationship skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to plan and schedule work.
• Time management and organization, handling multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Customer service orientation and problem solving.
• Detail oriented with analytical skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate warehouse and administrative functions to ensure quality customer service.
• Participate in recruitment and selection processes.
• Develop staff through training and performance management.
• Manage movement and audit of inventory.
• Coordinate inventory prep, cycle counts, RF system, vendor returns, displays, and promotions.
• Oversee debit memo processes, cash/credit, and pricing contracts.
• Ensure timely responses to calls and emails.
• Maintain customer relationships with follow-up and resolution.
• Support branch safety and building management with HR guidance.
• Assist other branches to secure customer orders with Sales.
