Worldpac, a leading automotive parts distributor, seeks a Branch Operations Manager to direct the branch’s activities, assets, and growth. You will oversee staffing, budgeting, safety, and service expansion while coordinating with regional leadership to maintain Worldpac’s competitive edge.

Formación

• At least 4 years of leadership in a warehouse-related field.
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Eligible to work in the country in which you are applying for
• Be available to open and close the warehouse, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays (as needed)
• Must meet all applicable state/province-specific driver's license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties.
• Ability to perform basic clerical and physical tasks.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and write comprehensive detailed instructions, correspondence and memos.
• Proficient in basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented and strong prioritization skills.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Extremely organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Understands staffing requirements.
• Broad understanding of multiple department functions.
• Have excellent multitasking ability.
• Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment.
• Demonstrated self-starter and motivated individual.
• Ability to challenge upwards – respectful pushback.
• Willingness to learn new skills and gain knowledge about all aspects of the Branch operations.
• Understanding of P&L.
• Willing to get powered equipment certification.

Responsabilidades

• Interview, hire and train new team members; conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.
• Communicate regularly with the Regional Operations Manager and HR when needed.
• Instill a customer service-oriented philosophy in all conduct to self and other team members.
• Prepare and submit annual operational budget for approval and develop plans for efficient use of resources.
• Plan personnel safety and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with customers and branch management team to evaluate, promote and provide improved and expanded services in the area.
• Use vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.
