BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Branch Manager in California to lead daily operations, safety, customer service, and profitability for the Goleta area. You will oversee sales, client relationships, and team performance.

The role requires 3-5 years in management within landscaping or service industries, a bachelor's degree, and strong financial oversight. You will develop strategies, ensure compliance, and foster a high-performing, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Horticulture, or equivalent combination of landscape maintenance/construction experience.
• 3-5 years of management experience in landscaping, operations, or service-based industries.
• Proven ability to manage P&L and read financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and operational compliance practices.
• Results-driven leader with experience in team development and performance management.
• Adaptive and proactive in managing change and solving complex operational issues.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant business software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily branch operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with policies.
• Oversee service delivery and supervise teams to maintain high-quality performance.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to provide a professional, safe work environment.
• Ensure proper usage and accountability of tools and resources.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet growth targets.
• Manage the sales team to maintain a healthy pipeline and client relationships.
• Engage in local marketing, events, and networking to expand brand visibility.
• Supervise customer service teams and ensure high-quality service.
• Respond to customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor client feedback and implement service improvements.
• Manage branch P&L, revenue, expenses, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure timely billing and collections to support cash flow.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through cross-selling or new services.
• Track KPIs and implement improvements to maximize profitability.
• Uphold EHS policies and promote a culture of safety.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop branch staff.
• Set performance expectations and conduct reviews.
• Foster a positive culture emphasizing engagement and teamwork.
• Build branch capabilities for long-term success.
