Grainger’s Branch Team Lead role supports daily operations, delivering outstanding customer service while guiding a branch team to meet safety, sales and service targets. You will work with the Branch leadership to align priorities and communicate the company strategy to staff.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least three years in customer service and sales, and two+ years in management. Proficiency with SAP and the ability to relocate within two years are also expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 3 years in customer service and sales.
• 2+ years in a management role within a customer service environment.
• Ability to articulate the branch vision to staff.
• Train employees on processes and product knowledge.
• Proficient with computers and software including SAP.
• Operate powered industrial equipment as needed.
• Able to relocate to another branch within 2 years.

Aufgaben

• Provide customer service and direction for the daily activities of a branch team.
• Clarify direction for team members by projects and priorities and provide feedback.
• Improve key metrics in customer satisfaction, sales, safety and operations.
• Create a positive customer experience and ensure retention.
• Deliver frequent feedback to strengthen branch operations skills.
• Monitor counter transactions and guide team members.
• Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training for staff.
• Build work schedules to ensure productivity and staffing levels.
• Identify process improvements and implement changes to enhance sales and service.
• Collaborate with Sales, Branch Network and Onsite Services teams.
• May handle after-hours emergency customer calls.
