Grainger is hiring a Branch Team Lead to oversee daily operations at the Pittsburgh onsite location. You will drive customer service, staffing, and operational metrics while guiding a team and reporting to the Operations/Branch Manager.

Requires 3+ years in customer service and sales, 2+ years in management, and familiarity with SAP. We offer comprehensive benefits and a structured work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years customer service and sales experience.
• 2+ years management experience in a customer service setting.
• Ability to guide teams and communicate strategy.
• Proficiency with SAP software.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and direction regarding the daily activities of a team at the branch location.
• Clarify direction for team members by projects, priorities and company strategy and provide continued feedback.
• Help improve operational metrics in customer satisfaction, sales, safety and service.
• Create a positive customer experience and ensure retention.
• Provide feedback to strengthen branch operations skills.
• Monitor counter transactions and guide team members.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for staff.
• Build work schedules to maintain productivity and staffing levels.
• Assess processes for improvement and implement changes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Branch Network, and Support teams.
• May respond to after-hours emergency customer calls.
