Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Branch Team Lead in Charlotte, NC to steer daily branch operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will lead a team, align projects with company strategy, and drive key metrics in satisfaction, sales, and safety.

The role requires 3+ years of customer service and sales experience, 2+ years of management, and proficiency with SAP. Benefits begin on day one, with PTO, holidays, and 401(k) contributions among others.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ customer service and sales experience.
2+ years of management experience in a customer service environment.
High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service and direction regarding the daily activities of a team at the branch location.
Clarify direction for team members by projects, priorities and company strategy and provide continued feedback.
Help improve operational metrics in customer satisfaction, sales, safety, and efficiency.
Provide a positive customer experience and ensure retention.
Give frequent feedback to strengthen skills for branch operations.
Monitor counter transactions and guide team members.
Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training.
Build work schedules to ensure productivity and staffing.
Identify process improvements using Continuous Improvement methods.
Collaborate with Sales, Branch Network, Customer Service Centers, and Onsite Services teams.
