Job summary

Insurance Office of America in Greenville, SC is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines. You will lead the branch operations, direct the team, implement strategic plans, manage budget and P&L, and support producer/agency acquisition while serving as Account Manager for a book of business.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial insurance, 2+ years of supervision, an active P&C license, and CISR or CIC designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• 5+ years of commercial insurance industry experience.
• 2+ years of management/supervisor experience.
• CISR or CIC designation preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities and workflow of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs, and meet financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding; evaluate merger/acquisition opportunities.
• Serve as Account Manager for an assigned book of business.
• Ensure HR processes and policies are followed.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate with Regional Director of Operations and sales leadership.
