Job summary

Insurance Office Of America, Inc. seeks a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines, with remote work and occasional travel to/from Charleston, SC and/or Columbia, SC offices.

You will lead the branch operations, manage performance, budgeting, and policy implementation while serving as Account Manager for a dedicated book of business. Ideal candidates have a P&C license, several years of insurance leadership experience, and strong communication and financial management skills.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• 5+ years of commercial insurance industry experience.
• 2+ years of management/supervisor experience.
• CISR or CIC designation preferred.
• Outstanding communication, people management and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs and achieve financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision/mission for the branch.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding; evaluate merger/acquisition opportunities.
• Ensure HR processes and policies compliance.
• Establish and monitor productivity, quality and service standards.
• Encourage growth and development of personnel.
