Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines. This role leads the branch operations team, implements strategic plans, manages the P&L, and oversees budgeting, reporting, and staff development.

You will also participate in producer/agency acquisition and serve as Account Manager for a book of business. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial insurance, 2+ years of management, and active P&C licensing (CISR/CIC a plus).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial insurance industry experience.
• 2+ years of management / supervisor experience.
• Active P&C licensing.
• CISR or CIC designation (preferred).
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations management activities, including budgeting, planning, and staff development.
• Manage operations team performance and ensure quality and service standards.
• participate in producer/agency acquisition and integration.
• Serve as Account Manager for assigned book of business.
• Communicate leadership vision and drive strategic/tactical plans.
• Monitor performance data and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure processes and policies are followed.
• Develop future branch leaders and promote IOA values.
