Job summary

Insurance Office of America in Goleta, CA is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines to lead the IOA branch’s operations, budgeting, and service delivery while serving as Account Manager for an assigned book. This hybrid role requires active property and casualty licensing and strong leadership to drive performance, culture, and client satisfaction across the branch network.

You will oversee staff, partner with sales, manage P&L, and help grow the agency through merger activity

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with broad knowledge
• 2+ years of management experience
• Active property & casualty licensing
• Strong account management skills and time spent on a book
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficient in MS Office

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations and daily workflow across the team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans and budgets.
• Manage branch P&L, costs, and financial goals.
• Develop staff, implement HR processes, and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee performance standards and data-driven improvements.
• Serve as Account Manager for an assigned book of business.
