Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines in California. The role reports to the Regional leadership and directs branch operations, budgeting, and staff performance while personally managing a segment of the client book.

You will implement strategic plans, ensure service quality, and develop staff. Hybrid work is offered with one in-office day at select CA locations, including Aliso Viejo.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in insurance operations or related area.
• 2+ years of management experience leading teams.
• Active property & casualty license required.
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the branch and oversee workflow.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans for the branch.
• Manage branch P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop the operations team.
• Serve as Account Manager for an assigned book of business up to 50% of time.
• Ensure compliance with HR processes and company policies.
